I have been looking at Wikipedia – Pac-10/12 for one whole year. It was Pac-10 when I checked a few hours ago.
Now at 11:00 pm PST, it is Pac-12. We are no longer a ‘future’ member. We ARE members of the Pac-12!!!!!! The best academic+athletic conference in this great land of ours.

Pac-12 website

I guess the Pac-12 conference ended up winning the court battle with the guy who previously had the Pac-12 domain name and wouldn’t give it up with a big payday.

I have been looking at the old Pac-10 website for over a year. It was hard to navigate and not an easy read.

The new Pac-12 website is much better! And it nice to see the University of Utah logo among with the other Pac-12 conference members!

July 1, 2011, a day I will never forget!

Pac-10 Website

Like pretty much everything else from the Tom Hansen era, it was outdated and archaic.

Welcome to the Pac-12, Utah, be glad you’ll never get to experience the fogeyisms of Tom Hansen.

It's also still at Pac 10.org

I'd rather be surfing.

Hello Utah!!!!

And Welcome…. welcome… welcome….

to the machine!

We look forward to seeing what kind of record the Utes post this football season and are keeping our fingers (and toes) crossed that Colorado doesn’t suddenly go 6-6 and make the Pac12’s strength of schedule suddenly look as lame as the MountainWest’s.

It's a great day. Long live the Pac.

Ready to tee it up soon. Good luck to all. Going to be a heck of a show.

It is like Christmas day!!!

I couldn’t sleep last night. I was just reading the internet most of the night looking for any article I could find. As a freshman in 1994 I have been fortunate to see this whole era transcend. It is beyond awesome.

And.... Utah is officially AQ

I keep accidentally eating my pets. Maybe I should get something less appetizing, like a cat instead of a Twinkie.

I'll Miss the BCS Graveyard...

I still love the BCS Graveyard title: If You Beat Enough of Them, They Let You Join Them.

If anyone found my snowboarding gloves after storming the field following the 2004 TDS game, I want them back!

Aloha Utah!!

Welcome, and I look forward to many southern section battles with the Utes.

Welcome, Utes.

As long as you pound the Fuskies and the Biebers, we’ll get along just fine.

Ducks GOOOOD. Fuskies BAAAAAD.

So a possibly sad note?

Does this mean we vacate our title of most wins vs AQ teams by a Non AQ in the BCS era?

Oh well I think I can live without that record.

by UnHoly Ram on Jul 1, 2011 10:47 AM MDT reply actions

It does...unfortunately...

As I’m sure Fresno will probably pass us in a year or two anyway with no more potential non-AQ versus BCS games for us anymore.

But you’re right, we can live without that record.

This is a great day!

I am trying to get off of work so I can go up to the Utah capital and party with all of the Ute fans up there. I am just worried about parking. I’ll walk a mile for this if I have to!

Independence dose not = PAC - 12. Good try though byu. No one wants you in their confence.

Alright, can't wait to play Utah

Welcome to the Pac 10 -- em, 12!

I’m looking forward to the renewal of rivalries Utah had with the Wildcats when both were in the WAC and generally to the continuation of a series where Arizona will just need four wins to tie up the series and then a fifth to pass the Utes!

I'd rather be surfing.

Welcome to the Pac 10 + 2 = 12

Looking forward to visiting your stadium and game day experience.
The Pacific 8 / 10 / 12 conference does things a little different from what you maybe accustomed to.
Every member of the conference is different. I’m sure you will find each campus / city interesting. The Northwest area- Washington, Oregon, Northern + Southern California, Arizona, Colorado, and Utah.
Rivals on the field with the common traits of academic and sports excellence. I look forward to having a cold one with any of you after the game, regardless of the outcome.
There is many instances of friendship and marital bliss between members of each Pacific conference member.

Remember, support your home team – 1st. and the conference – 2nd.
