The Pac-12 today announced the creation of the Pac-12 Network, an ambitious agreement between Time Warner Cable, Cox Communication, Bright House Networks and Comcast. The deal will create a national network with six regional networks with regional-oriented content. The six regional networks will be established in Northern California, Southern California, Oregon, Washington, Arizona and Mountain regions.
The agreement means that every football and men's basketball game will be televised, and that the network will eventually televise a total of 850 live events annually - with 350 on the national feed and the remainder broken down by region.
The regional networks are expected to be distributed to fans all across the country.
