Utes have good first scrimmage
Utah's first scrimmage of the season proved successful enough and even Kyle Whittingham claimed it to be one of the more efficient of the last few years.
Jordan Wynn returned to the practice field and had a pretty good day, though he did throw an interception and botched a few exchanges with the center. Wynn finished the scrimmage 9 of 17 for 152 yards and threw a 26-yard touchdown pass to Luke Matthews.
Once again, John White appears to be distancing himself from Thretton Palamo and Harvey Langi. Neither two had a bad performance Thursday, however, Whittingham has been on the record saying he wishes Palamo and Langi were more explosive than they've been recently.
White, at the moment, looks like the favorite to start against Montana State.
It wasn't perfect at times, but it's good to see Wynn throwing and by all accounts, he feels good.

Wynn did not throw a pick
But he did fumble a snap. The Three INT’s were all John Hays
From the Utes’ official release:
Wynn, competing under game-like conditions for the first time since last November, completed 9-of-17 passes for 152 yards and a touchdown. He was not intercepted.
i must say im a defense kind of guya
And I’m glad the defense got those fumbles and interception. From my guess the defense is doing great
Are you sure he was safe? It looked like an out to the entire statium. Well bad call Blue.
