Each tuesday, the athletic department releases some game week notes with some notes about the prior game and the coming game.
A couple things stuck out to me:
-Harvey Langi has been dropped from the running back depth chart. The coaches know more than me, but is Vakapuna really that much better? Guess we will see.
-Miles Mason has beat out Vyncent Jones for the starting right guard spot and is doing pretty well. The right side of our line is the strength right now, as they are all grading out at 85%+. Cullen was only at 71% for the SC game. He HAS to step up.
-Sean Sellwood got beat out as the punter. The kid can kick it far, but it takes him FOREVER to get the kick off. Anyone notice how Marsh did on Saturday?
-I find it odd that Kenneth Scott has yet to appear in a game. Had heard great things about him, but I guess it is a numbers game (ok, I promise, no more references to anything related to the channel we used to play on).
-Dexter Ransom and Sean Fitzgerald appear to be in the same boat. They are being squeezed by the new offense. I was hoping for a big year from Dexter and I know Sean has promise. But alas, the season is young.
That was what stood out to me. How about you?
