First Scrimmage Eval

Stay connected for news and updates

So, the first scrimmage is done and I thought it was an overall good day. Now I guess it's time to be fans and pick apart some of the positions.

QB's: Impressed me a lot. Wynn's stats weren't great (11/23, 103 yds, 2TD), but his motion is much better than last year and his decision making was great. Wilson was impressive (9/11, 106 yds, 1TD, 1INT), he ran well, and I'm actually happy he threw the pick 6 since better to learn from the mistake know than during a game. Hansen was "eh". As for Hayes, he definitely made his 4 reps count, completing them all for 55 yards.

RB's: sorry to see York look a little lost, but I liked some of the runs and catches Langi had, and Olliver looked pretty solid.

Linemen: both lines looked good and are definitely improving, especially considering the D held Star out of the scrimmage.

LB's: looked very good considering how young they are.

Secondary: broke up some good passes and seem to be watching the ball more, which is good to see since that was one of the things they weren't doing last year.

So what do you think?
