Hey guys.

So, I was just reading some of the posts from the stadium expansion post, and one of the threads was actually interesting. Apparently, UteDrummer8893 is taking a class that "is going to explore new traditions for Utah football and refer them to the athletic department", and some others thought it might be a good idea for someone to start a discussion thread devoted to this. For example, one idea was to light the Olympic torch at the start of the fourth quarter like USC does this with their Olympic torch.

So, have at it and let your Ute-crazed minds think up some ideas for possible future traditions. I'll start:

I think that we should start off games with "We Will Rock You". I mean, the marching band is cool, but it really doesn't get your blood pumping or get you in the mood for football. Also, we've been playing with the "outsider looking in" persona for years, and the MUSS and Fans already know how to jump and stomp, so I think we could do something really cool with it and making it work, like having it build up into the opening kickoff of games.

So, have at it, and let's see if we can come up with some awesome ideas.
