1) Utah has a stellar defense, but a dismal offense (as is our current situation)
or
2) Have a stellar offense, but a pathetic defense?
I, myself, would prefer option #2. I know, defense wins championships... but you won't win jack if you can't get on the board.
However, teams CAN be successful by loading up the scoreboard and doing just enough to keep the other team from scoring more points than you have.
I would rather be talking about a Utah team that lights up the scoreboard, but also allows a ton of points. Wouldn't that make the games funner to watch. Wouldn't that give you more confidence in this team?
Unfortunately, Whittingham is a defensive guy... which is why Utah regularly has good defenses. It seems like his defensive-oriented mind sometimes neglects what's important on offense.
So which would you rather have?
