Who's Utah's toughest opponent this season? My rankings from easiest to hardest...
We're inching closer and closer to the 2010 season. This video is from 1995 and Utah's win over the Aggies. The Utes finished the season 7-4 and won a share of the WAC that year. 1995 was an interesting season for Utah. They were coming off that great 1994 campaign and all four of their losses were by a touchdown or less. That year they had seven home games and yet, only managed seven wins. Interestingly enough, though, all four of their losses came at Rice Stadium. 1995 was truly a "what if..." season. Thanks to eekyv for the video.
The forefathers of Utah football made this Pac-10 invite possible. Without them, it's unlikely we're even on the national radar, let alone a new member of a BCS conference.
4. Kyle Whittingham, Utah coach. The best coach with the least hype, watch how Whittingham's program develops as a BCS school. The stadium and facilities already are magnificent (see: Olympics, Salt Lake City), the city is gorgeous, and all of those California recruits and their parents will take a renewed, long look at Utah. Collateral benefit: Now there's no reason for Whittingham to leave for a better job.
