Utah was No. 6 in these computer rankings arguably good enough to claim that national championship

I understand the perception of loosing Booker as taking a big step back, but do they not realize how bad Booker was limited by the inept passing game?

Utah and BYU coaches played in the Liberty Mutual Invitational for kidney cancer. The Salt Lake Tribune's Kyle Goon shot a video at the banquet afterwards of the BYU coaching staff singing Utah Man, the University of Utah's fight song. Based on photo posted by Goon, it appears that the Utah coaching staff posted a lower score than the BYU coaches (60 for Utah compared to 65 for BYU), which is probably what prompted the BYU coaches having to sing Utah's fight song. There appeared to be conviviality between the two coaching staffs at the event; hopefully that leads to less vitriol between the two programs and their respective fan bases.
For the first time ever, the Utah Red-White spring game will feature all red uniforms versus all white uniforms on Saturday, Apr. 23 at Rice-Eccles Stadium at noon. It looks like the Red team will feature the red throwback jersey. The satin red helmets are off getting reconditioned per the @UtesEquipment Twitter account, so it will be the regular red helmets. Overall, these are both great looks, and it is a really cool concept.
Owing, I'm sure, in large part to his clutch 3 at the end of the Zona game, Brandon Taylor has been named ESPN's National Player of the Week. Congrats, Brandon!
