Utah's annual Fan Fest is today at Rice-Eccles Stadium. Events begin at 10 a.m. and go until 1 p.m. - admission is free. Players and coaches from all Utah varsity teams will be on hand to sign autographs.
Sure, it's completely meaningless at this point of the year, but a win is a win is a win! We only won 6 last year, so I'll take them where I can get them.
Keep it up Larry and Staff... Go Utes!
Hey, we just met you. And this is crazy, but give us a question for your coach and we’ll ask it at the Pac-12 Media Day. Maybe. And all the other teams try to chase us, but we have Pac-12 Media Day coverage, so click it, maybe? This is our convoluted and witty way of saying we're gonna have a guy at Pac-12 Media Day and can ask your representatives there questions. So, either respond to this fanshot with some questions for your Pac-12 Media Day representatives or click here to leave them with us. Thanks!
SBNation simulates the 2012 season using NCAA Football 2013 and, well, the results are promising. It's legit.
Harvey's gone for the next two years. Good for him! Harvey, We'll see you in two years when we open at Michigan.
A good Utes preview by Bill Connelly.
If you are both a Ute fan and a data geek (like me) this is pretty fun to flip through. The crosstabs section, in particular, touches on some fascinating demographics that I think are both illuminating and, I believe, extremely encouraging regarding the future of U athletics. I will let you interpret for yourselves, but I will say the polling suggests big differences in the demographics of fanbases in the state of Utah.
Thought I'd share my post today over at Vanquish The Foe, home of your friendly rivals. These rules can apply to most fanbases, just replace the school name.
