Recap: Clemson vs. T-C-U

Charleston, SC (Sports Network) - K.C. Rivers tallied 18 points, as the Clemson Tigers outlasted the TCU Horned Frogs, 70-58, in the second round of the inaugural Charleston Classic at the Carolina First Center.

Terrence Oglesby added 14 points for the Tigers (2-0), who will take on Temple in the championship game on Sunday. Demontez Stitt chipped in with 11 points and David Potter had 10 off the bench in the winning effort.

Edvinas Ruzgas guided TCU (1-1) with a game-high 19 points and six boards. Ronnie Moss netted 10 points for the Frogs, who will clash with the College of Charleston in a battle for third place on Sunday.

Clemson shot 45.8 percent from the floor in the first half, taking a 29-27 lead to the break.

In the second half, the Tigers made 4-of-9 attempts from long range and 13- of-16 at the foul line, as they captured the 12-point win.

Clemson outscored TCU at the foul line, 17-6, and that made the difference.
