Crazy Lady among ESPN's Super Fans

18. Terri Jackson (Utah) There aren't many people who would find the nickname "Crazy Lady" to be flattering. Terri Jackson is one of them who does. Having graduated more than three decades ago from Utah, she still has the energy of a college student, which she demonstrates with her regular pre-fourth-quarter dance routine that involves a lot of shoulder shakes and flying fists. The entire stadium turns to her before the final 15 minutes, with the students chanting, "Cra-zy La-dy." She's been doing it since 2000. Jackson said she and her husband might hit the road for each game in the 2011 season to check out all the new venues in the Utes' next conference. Pac-10 fans, you've been warned.

John McKay Conference

ESPN drafted 40 teams and now they're putting them in conference named after legendary coaches. The western conference is named after John McKay, former coach of the Trojans from 1960 to 1975. This is what the conference would look like: JOHN MCKAY CONFERENCE Arizona State Boise State Brigham Young California Oregon Oregon State Texas Tech UCLA USC Utah Actually, that's a damn good conference. Beyond that, this was what Ivan Maisel said about the Utes: That leaves Boise State a half-game behind Utah, which is 2-0 in the BCS. Under longtime coach Ron McBride, the Utes moved from good to mediocre and back. In the past six seasons under coaches Urban Meyer (2003-04) and Kyle Whittingham (2005-present), Utah has gone 60-16. Since joining the Mountain West a decade ago, the Utes are 8-0 in bowl games. Among their victims are Alabama, Pittsburgh and Carroll's Trojans (10-6 in the 2001 Las Vegas Bowl).

Utes drafted 17th in ESPN's top-40 relegation mock draft

Just more proof we rock. ;) 17. Utah Utes, selected by Mark Schlabach The Utes are the only team in the country to have two perfect seasons during the BCS era. Utah has two top-five finishes during the BCS era (more than Michigan, Nebraska and Penn State). Utah produced current Florida coach Urban Meyer (who became the first coach from a non-BCS school to crash the BCS party) and current coach Kyle Whittingham (who was the last coach to expose an SEC school in a BCS bowl game). BYU and Boise State were possible choices here, too, but the Utes have flourished on the national stage more than once.
