Rany, I'm a regular reader and fan of yours. I'm not going to pretend that I have the same relationship with Kauffman thay many do.
But this semi-endorsement of Sam Mellinger's "Kougar" nickname for Kauffman Stadium is horrifying. It's worse than Mellinger's "GREAT!" verdict on the Jose Guillen contract last June. Worse than you using FRAA do evaluate Alex Gordon's defense. Worse than all the "Should we resign Kyle Davies?" blogs after his first two starts this season. Worse than you trying to start nicknames last year, us beating you to the punch, then you saying they didn't "grab" you as if you were the judge of what was appropriate for nicknaming. Then again, who am I do judge a guy who still pimps Pythagenport long after its creator has disowned it?
If I had any idea what it meant, I'd say it is very close to being "on."
