It's official: Utah to the Pac-12 South with Arizona, Arizona State, Colorado, SC and UCLA. Pac-12 officials have also agreed on hosting the title game at the on-campus site of top-seeded team.
USC's athletic director reports the Pac-12 schools have preliminarily voted 7-5 to put Utah and Colorado in the South Division. The final vote comes next week.
It's looking more and more likely Utah will be slotted a spot in the Pac-12 South Division. There they would join Arizona, Arizona State, Colorado, SC and UCLA.
A Pac-10 athletic director says the current rumored North & South divisional splits that put the California and Arizona schools in the same division is a nonstarter.
