Utah is getting a bit more preseason buzz than a year ago. However, some of it is solely by default. Utah's ultimate challenge might not be their spot in the Pac-12 South and rather their overall standing in the conference.

The Pac-12 tournament is coming, and Colorado, Arizona and Oregon fight to stay away from the 5th seed while Cal, Washington and Colorado battle for the regular season crown.

It's a new year for Utah basketball, but most in the media are expecting something similar to the last two seasons.
