Quick Look

Saturday, November 18th
5:30 p.m.
Falcon Stadium, Colorado Springs, CO
TV: the mtn.
Radio: AM 700 The Zone
All-Time: Air Force leads 13-9
Last Meeting: 2005 (Utah 38, Air Force 35)
What to expect when Utah has the ball: Utah's offense will try and keep Air Force's offense off the field as long as possible. Look for long, drawn out drives and for the Utes to try and penetrate the Falcons' mediocre run defense. Yet Utah will need to rely on their passing game as well, diversifying the offense to the point where it does not become one dimensional.

What to expect when Air Force has the ball: Falcons will run their tricky triple option. Look for Shaun Carney to get a lot of yards on the ground, at least for a quarterback. Air Force is good at sustaining drives, meaning Utah's defense will probably bend a lot. If it breaks, Air Force should have no problem winning.

How the Utes win: Shut down Air Force's offense. If they can shut them down, the Utes' offense should overpower a pretty bad Falcons defense. However that's asking a lot, as Utah's struggled against Air Force in years past.
