Some afternoon tid-bits

Not much to report, except for the following...

  • The Salt Lake Tribune is reporting that quarterback Corbin Louks and cornerback Reggie Topps have orally committed to play for the Utes. Louks, a duel threat quarterback, is out of San Ramon Valley High School in Danville, California. This season he threw for  2,033 yards and had 24 touch downs for San Ramon Valley High. Topps, a probable gray-shirt for the Utes, is a 5'11, 170-pound cornerback who also was a track star for North County High School in Monterey, California.
  • Kyle over at Dawg Sports is previewing every bowl game and has the Utes defeating Tulsa. Good choice, Kyle.
  • You can still keep up on all of the college football coaching changes here. Nico, over at Roll Bama Roll, has been listing candidates for the vacant Alabama job all week. Maybe after March, the Crimson Tide can hire Mark Gottfried to coach their football team. I mean, he has had great success coaching Alabama Men's Hoops.
