Monday tidbits and an injury report...

Some quick football news to report...

  • Some injury reports from Monday's scrimmage may have some impact on Utah's depth chart. Linebacker Kyle Brady sprained his right knee and is out for an unknown amount of time, as are Nano Tonga (sprained right knee) and safety John Peel (neck pain). Cornerback Mombroso Washington injured his shoulder, but is expected to return to practice this week. George Molifua will most likely sit out the season due to injury.
  • Daniel Dixon, an RB walk-on from Cerritos Junior College, has left the team on his own accord. Dixon was a junior who had two years to play two. It's unclear where or if he will walk-on to another program.
  • The Utes have broken their season ticket record set last year. Since August 9th, the Utes have sold 22,050 seasons, last year's record was 21,540. Season tickets are still available and can be ordered by calling the ticket office at 801-581-UTIX or online at www.utahtickets.com as well as the Rice-Eccles Stadium box office.
