It's always good when you're winning, especially when it comes to weekly honors. After leading the Utes to a 2-0 record, Luke Nevill was named the Mountain West Conference Player of the Week. It's the first such honor for Nevill, a sophomore.
Nevill helped Utah go 2-0 this week by scoring 18 points on 8-8 shooting against Air Force, and 14 points, including the game winner, in the Utes 62-60 victory over Wyoming.
Congratulations to Nevill and the Utes and hopefully Utah can continue this success.
