Hill talks to Kent State's Jim Christian

Add another name to the list.

The Salt Lake Tribune is reporting that Kent State head coach Jim Christian is in talks with Utah.

Christian would bring an impressive resume to Utah, as he's had a 20-win season every year he's been coaching at Kent State and guided the Golden Flashes to the NCAA Tournament last season, where they lost to Pittsburgh in the first round. Christian was an assistant on the 2002 Kent State Elite Eight team that upset Oklahoma State and Pittsburgh before finally losing to Alabama.

The only knock on him is that they've never won a tournament game and only made one tournament under his leadership. Plus Stan Heath hasn't really turned out to be a great coach for Arkansas and that's who Christian replaced. However, you can't deny 20 win seasons and he's done a great job at continuing success from the Heath era and then building a solid foundation of his own.
