Kent State head coach Jim Christian has become another possible coaching candidate that has interviewed with Chris Hill. It's being reported the two met yesterday in San Antonio, the same day Hill interviewed Michigan State assistant Jim Boylen. Hill is also expected to interview Old Dominion head coach Blaine Taylor in the coming days and still may interview Southern Illinois' Chris Lowery and Butler's Todd Lickliter when both are bumped from the NCAA Tournament.
Christian has coached Kent State for five seasons and has gone 110-51 (.683), including 63-25 (.715) in MAC play. Christian has won 20 or more games every year he's been at Kent State, but has only appeared in one NCAA Tournament.
