Someone close to the Monarchs program has informed me that Old Dominion head coach Blaine Taylor may have met with Chris Hill recently. It's pretty known that Taylor is a candidate for the Utah job, but he has yet to discuss the job opening with anyone in the media -- an obvious sign that something is up.
Whether Taylor is Hill's top candidate, it cannot be said, however I'm guessing he's at the top of the list. If Taylor has interviewed with Hill, that would make him the third known candidate to do so. Chris Hill has already interviewed Michigan State assistant Jim Boylen and Kent State head coach Jim Christian. He was expected to do another round of interviews today, but it's unclear who he interviewed.
