Reggie Theus and Larry Krystkowiak possible coaching candidates

Rumors are flying about former Montana head coach Larry Krystkowiak after he was approached by local media to discuss the vacant Utah job and turned them down. Michael Lewis' blog discusses what this could mean and he definitely has a point. Why turn down an interview if there's no chance you're taking the job? Or even a candidate?

Larry Krystkowiak was head coach of Montana for two years, leading them to a 42-20 record, two NCAA Tournament appearances and an upset win over Nevada in last year's first round. He's currently an assistant with the Milwaukee Bucks.

Another rumor floating around is that former UNLV star and current New Mexico State head coach Reggie Theus is a candidate for the Utah job. Theus in his second year with the Aggies, who are 22-8 this season and most likely headed back to the NCAA Tournament. Theus was an assistant under Rick Pitino at Louisville prior to becoming the head man in Las Cruces.
