Fox Sports has a small blurb on Mark Fox possibly being a candidate for the Utah job. Fox joins Reggie Theus (New Mexico State) and Larry Krystkowiak (former Montana coach) as candidates that seem to be on Hill's short list to coach the Utes.
Fox has spent three years at Nevada, going an impressive 75-18, including a dominating 27-3 this year. The Wolf Pack are a top-10 team, won the WAC and are poised for a deep tournament run.
Oddly enough the Utes had offered their head coaching job to former Nevada coach Trent Johnson in 2004. He declined, accepted a contract extension with the Wolf Pack and then decided to coach Stanford. That's when Fox took over the program and hasn't looked back since.
I'd love Fox, who has definitely elevated Nevada further than even Johnson did during his short stay there. Whether Fox wants to come to Utah is the big question however.
