Utah commit Carlon Brown named 2007 Riverside County Player of the Year.

Utah commit Carlon Brown has been named The Press-Enterprise Riverside County Player of the Year. Brown had committed to Utah under former head coach Ray Giacoletti and yesterday reaffirmed that commitment by saying he wants to play under Coach Boylen.

Brown averaged 18.5 points per game, eight rebounds and six assists as he led Riverside King to a 27-4 record and a loss in the semifinals of this year's California state high school playoffs.

Two weeks ago Morgan Grim recommitted to the Utes, so all that's left is Tyler Kepkay, who has interest in St. Johns and San Diego State. Today he took his official visit to the University of Utah campus and met with Coach Boylen and the staff, so we could know his plans next week.
