Utes facing must win

Today's game against TCU in Salt Lake City can go along way toward getting this season back on track for the Utes. After starting conference play with a rather unimpressive 1-3 record, the Utes are in desperate need of a win. And though the schedule eases up just a bit, TCU is not to be taken lightly.

Entering today's game, TCU is 11-6 on the season and 3-1 in Mountain West play. They own victories over New Mexico, Wyoming and CSU and their lone loss was a competitive defeat at San Diego State. So it's safe to say these are not the same Frogs Utah met last year -- who owned a road victory over the Utes. Utah will be ready, looking to end their 3 game losing streak, while TCU will be looking for a solid, season defining road win to show the conference they are for real. Here's a quick look at the Horned Frogs so far this season and how they compare to the Utes.

This will prove to be a good indicator game for Utah. I feel confident Utah should win and in fact believe they'll win rather easily. However, if this game is close, I'm not sure the Utes have what it takes to pull out the victory. So let's hope for a blowout from the start.
