The rumors are flying and they suggest the Broncos have been invited to join the conference this spring. Of course, they can't admit they received the letter until after the season is finished, but this is the first time we've heard rumors heat up this much.
What do you think? Would Boise State make a good fit in the Mountain West?
Honestly, I don't want them. Nothing against Boise State, but I like the conference just the way it is. I don't think adding the Broncos will get the conference that much closer to locking down a BCS berth, but then again, having four extremely good programs (Utah, TCU, BYU and BSU) might help with perception.
With that said, I don't believe that would be enough to sway me into thinking it was a good idea. If I could, I would nix the idea, but I've realized long ago if the conference were to ever expand, the Broncos would be the first option and it would most likely happen, so it won't be a surprise if it does actually occur.
