Game Preview

What to expect when Utah has the ball: A solid mix of offense, especially through the air. This is about as close as you get to a practice game and with Oregon State looming, giving Brian Johnson some tune-up plays might help in his decision making when the opposing team pressures the passer.

What to expect when Weber has the ball: Utah teams under McBride were known for their running games, however, McBride has a pretty nifty quarterback in Cameron Higgins, who's thrown for 1,235 yards on the season already. Of course, it is Ron McBride, so I doubt he abandons the run. Trevyn Smith is averaging 88 yards per game on the ground and expect him to get a lot of carries if Higgins struggles.

How Utah wins: Show up. Yeah, it's cliched, but if Utah shows up, they should win. It's going to be interesting to see how they take this game, since their next opponent, Oregon State, just knocked off the number one team in the nation. If there is rust, it'll come early, but I would be absolutely floored if this game were close.

Lucky gettin' down with Utah's strong start.
