The Runnin' Utes will look to improve their standing in Mountain West play when they host the upstart Rams tonight. The game also marks the official end of the 2008 football season, as at halftime, the entire team will be honored.
This is a big game for Jim Boylen, as the Utes can run their conference record to 3-1 with a victory. Colorado State, who enter the game with a 6-11 (1-2) record, are coming off an upset home victory over the UNLV Rebels, so they are capable of pulling off the stunner. Outside of that win, though, the Rams have been pretty much similar to what we're used to from Colorado State and that is not what second year coach Tim Miles wants. For Utah, though, that plays right into their hand, since these are the games Utah must win if they are going to hope to keep their championship dreams alive.
It should be a good game and I expect a good crowd.
