Mountain West Tournament Day 3

New, comments

Wow, what an amazing day two!

Air Force nearly shocks the #1 seed BYU in the early game of the day, before the Cougars finally pulled away.

San Diego State rolled through the Rebels, even though UNLV was playing on their home-court. Lon Kruger's boys are now hoping for the NIT.

Utah nearly loses to TCU but Lawrence Borha steps up, hitting a huge 3 with .8 seconds left in the game.

In the final game of the night, the #3 seed once again fails to advance to the semis, as the Cowboys storm back from a 13 point deficit to defeat New Mexico. The Lobos might have just popped their NCAA bubble for the second straight year with another first round loss.

Tonight will probably prove to be another great night, as the Aztecs take on BYU and Utah gets a tired Wyoming team. Winners advance to the tournament title game. Predictions? Game-day chatter? Provide it below!

As with yesterday's thread, here is the bracket, which allows you to follow the games as they progress.

GO UTES & AZTECS!
