Former UCLA offensive coordinator Norm Chow will be paid his buyout price of $500,000 this season, even though he's coaching a few hundred miles away in Salt Lake City.
Chow, who signed on as the Bruins' OC prior to the 2008 season, was going to be reassigned by Rick Neuheisel, but opted instead to take the Utah job.
With that $500,000, he'll make $1 million the next two seasons, which was roughly the amount he would have made had he stayed on as UCLA's OC.
