Runnin' Utes sign three

Utah basketball close to finalizing the 2013 class.

Scott Olmos-USA TODAY Sports

Utah basketball added three more players to their 2013 class - Ahmad Fields, Princeton Onwas and Kenneth Ogbe. It brings the Utes' 2013 class to seven and offers Larry Krystkowiak a strong foundation to continue improving the basketball program. Fields, Onwas and Ogbe join Parker Van Dyke, Brandon Miller, Delon Wright and Marko Kovacevic, who all signed last year.

Tony Jones of the Salt Lake Tribune is also reporting Utah may land Darryl Reynolds, a power forward out of Massachusetts.

Reynolds is expected to visit here within the week and will make his decision at that point.

All in all, I think it was a good class. It's definitely not going to win Utah the Pac-12, but at this point, I doubt anyone expected that. However, it does bring in some talent and that's been the biggest issue facing the Runnin' Utes for the past seven or so years.
