Dan Finn is out as Utah's offensive line coach after coaching that position for the past two seasons.
This is one of a few staff shakeups we've seen since the Utes finished with consecutive losing seasons. Last month, Kyle Whittingham announced the hiring of Dave Christensen as offensive coordinator and reshuffled Brian Johnson to quarterbacks and Dennis Erickson, who had been the OC for 2013, to running backs.
Finn came to Utah after coaching a season with the San Diego State Aztecs.
On Utah's radar may be Jim Harding, the former co-offensive coordinator and OL coach at Wyoming under Christensen.
Tim Davis, who coached Utah's offensive line in 2011, may also be a candidate, as he was fired from Florida after the Gators slumped to a losing season.
I guess we'll see. As for Finn, it's hard not to be underwhelmed by the offensive line play the last two seasons. Hopefully this move fixes it.
