College Football Week 6 TV Schedule

An in-state matchup is going down in Provo, plus plenty of great games around the Pac-12.

Casey Sapio-USA TODAY Sports

Nothing helps forgetting a tough loss like getting more games to watch. We're finally getting some games with ranked teams facing off, starting with Texas A&M taking on Mississippi State on Saturday afternoon, as former Ute legend Brian Johnson tries to keep the momentum going in Starkville. There are ranked match ups all over the SEC, but I really don't like the SEC so let's not really talk about them.

In the Pac-12, the fun kicks off Thursday night as the Wildcats of Arizona head to Eugene to take on Oregon. The game kicks off on ESPN at 8:30 MT, and will have plenty of offense. Arizona's defense is nonexistent, and Oregon's defense is struggling this season, especially against the run. Oregon will be looking to avenge the beat down that happened in Tucson last season, so there will be motivation. Oregon should walk away with the win, but look for the Wildcats to put up enough points to make the Ducks earn it. Elsewhere in the Pac-12, Stanford travels to South Bend to take on the Irish, who are ranked No. 9 in the country. This will be a test for the Cardinal defense to see if they can stop Irish quarterback Everett Golson. If the Cardinal fall behind, can Kevin Hogan throw them back into the game? It will be fun to watch.

And down in Provo, the Team Down South takes on the team up north, in Utah State. Utah State appears to be without Chucky Keeton, and likely for the rest of the season - again. Sounds like Chucky may be the USU equivalent of Jordan Wynn, with all the ability but can't handle the beating of college football. That will be a major challenge for USU to go into Happy Vally with a backup QB.

Anyway, here is your viewing guide for all the college football goodness, week seven edition!
