Block U Pac-12 Picks: Week 6

Shane and Adia pulls ahead with 35-7 records on the season.

Matt Cashore-USA TODAY Sports

Week six of the season, and we are now starting to get to the half way point of the regular season, which is a terrible thought. There is only one out of conference matchup this week, with Stanford traveling to Notre Dame in their annual matchup.  Here are our picks for this week:

Arizona @ Oregon Stanford @ Notre Dame Arizona State @ USC Utah @ UCLA Cal @ WSU Oregon St @ CU

Record
Shane Oregon Notre Dame USC Utah Cal OSU

35-7
Steven Oregon Stanford USC UCLA WSU OSU

32-10
Adia Oregon Notre Dame USC UCLA Cal OSU

35-7
Alex Oregon Stanford USC UCLA WSU OSU

34-8
Daniel Oregon Stanford Arizona St UCLA WSU OSU

30-12

Oregon is the consensus pick over Arizona in Eugene, which should feature plenty of points being scored in a revenge game for the Ducks. A showdown that should be one of the most TV friendly games you'll ever watch, makes this the ultimate 'defense is optional' bowl. Adia and I (Shane) have Notre Dame defending their home field against the Cardinal. I'm just not sure if Stanford can slow down Everett Golson and the Irish offense. Daniel goes out on a limb, like normal, and picks ASU to go into the Colosseum and beat USC without Taylor Kelly. If that happens the Devils will be in much better shape than a week ago. The majority picks Cal to beat Wazzou, which with the way Cal is moving the ball, I expect the Bears to put up points in chunks. And nobody expects the Buffs to beat the Beavs, but don't be surprised if CU can come up and bite OSU in Boulder.

And as for the Utah/UCLA game, I'm the only one that picks the Utes to go into Pasadena and beat the Bruins, and you'll hear all of my reasons on an episode of The U Fan Cast, which should be available tomorrow. Ute Nation is shaken by the loss to WSU, and that's understandable, but I think the Utes have a lot to prove and will shock everyone.
