Utah Soccer Pair Nets Pac-12 Honors

Senior Katie Taylor named to the All Pac-12 Second Team, while freshman Mariah Elmer selected to the All Pac-12 Freshman Team.

With the end of the Utah soccer season comes the Pac-12 awards. Despite an up and down conference season for the Utes, senior midfielder Katie Taylor was selected to the All Pac-12 Second Team. While freshman Mariah Elmer was added to the All Pac-12 Freshman Team.

Taylor started every match this season for the Utes, and the midfielder finished with four goals and led the team in both goals and points. The Kaysville native finished with six helpers this season to give her 16 for her career, fifth all-time at Utah. Taylor started all but one contest during her Utah career and also led the team in goals and points as a junior, assists and points as a sophomore and assists as a freshman.

Elmer started three matches, and participated in 17 matches at Forward for the Utes. She tallied three goals in her freshman campaign for the Utes. One of the three a game winner vs Utah State.
