Well, after a long run of ranked and tough opponents, it appears the Utes are getting a bit of a breather this week. Although Colorado is much improved, they definitely aren't the teams that Utah has been facing over the past five weeks, which included three top 15 teams, and a road trip to Stanford. While Utah didn't finish their home schedule properly, they look to finish the 2014 schedule on a high note.
Last season, the Utes jumped to a 21-0 lead over CU before the Buffs rallied back and had a chance at the end of the game to win. The Utes are 2-1 against the Buffs since joining the Pac-12, with the lone loss keeping the Utes out of the Pac-12 Championship game in 2011. After dropping a terrible loss to Arizona last week, the Utes will be looking to bounce back.
Colorado is winless in Pac-12 play, but have some close loses to Cal and UCLA. Last week, CU lost to Oregon up in Eugene 44-10. Colorado is still in a massive rebuilding mode, but they are scaring teams and showing signs of improvement. By no means is this a gimme, and the Utes need to go into Boulder focused, or they could lose.
Another early kickoff for the Utes - here's how to check it out!
