Alaska Airlines Partners with Utah to Provide Perks to Fans

Many corporate/university partnerships are fine for the institution or their athletics teams, but few actually benefit the fans. However, Alaska Airlines and the University of Utah athletics department have announced a partnership that will provide Utes football fans rewards ranging from priority boarding to discounted tickets during the 2014 season.

Anyone wearing a Utes jersey or shirt on an Alaska Airlines flight originating in Salt Lake City International airport to any destination from Aug. 23-Dec. 1, 2014 will receive priority boarding. Alaska will also offer discounted fares to fans attending Utes road games, as well as to out-of-state fans returning to Salt Lake City for home games.
