Utah Football Picks Up Two Commits From Flordia

Russ Isabella-USA TODAY Sports

It was a big Sunday for the Utes on the recruiting front, as they picked up two new commits from the Sunshine State. They picked up an outside linebacker from Fort Lauderdale, Florida, Chris Hart. Hart is a three star rated player, according to Rivals.com. Hart has quite the impressive offer list, and is a big addition to the 2015 class, to help add to the future linebacking corps.

The Utes also received a commitment from Hart's teammate, a three star safety rated Tyson Crisrow. Crisrow also has quite the offer list, and will help add to the emerging young depth in the Utah secondary.

Crisrow and Hart join the Florida boys that have already joined the Utes roster from last year, including Andre Godfrey, Marcus Williams, Kenric Young and Tavaris Williams. There was some concern with Kalani Sitake going to Oregon State that recruiting would take a hit. While there have been a couple losses, Dennis Erickson has been killing it down south.

It has been a great couple of days for the football team, with the new contract for Coach Whittingham, and now the new commitments. The next couple of weeks are going to be big for the program, with signing day coming the first week of February and the possible announcement of new coordinators.
