The No. 5 Utah Utes (4-0, 1-0 Pac-12) host the No. 23 Cal Bears (5-0, 2-0 Pac-12) at Rice-Eccles Stadium, after hosting ESPN's College GameDay. Utah seeks to start 5-0 for the first time since 2010, their last season in the Mountain West Conference. The Utes are coming off of a BYE week after a dominating win over Oregon two weeks ago, by the score of 62-20. Utah is 1-1 against the Bears since joining the Pac-12, winning the last game in 2012 by a score of 49-27, with a true freshman Travis Wilson starting at QB, and Reggie Dunn returning two kickoff returns for touchdowns. Utah/Cal is the big ticket matchup in the Pac-12, which is why GameDay is here. The winner of this game helps put them another step closer to the Pac-12 championship game.
