The Utes are looking to wrap up their trip to Puerto Rico the right way, with a win over Temple this afternoon. The Utes have split the two games thus far on the trip, they beat Texas Tech and lost to Miami. The Utes are currently sitting at 3-1 on the season, and have played well on offense, but their defense hasn't been very good - outside of some select stretches.
The loss of Delon Wright, and his on ball defense, has been missed up to now. It also has been a bit of a challenge to keep Jakob Poeltl out of foul trouble. Jordan Loveridge has started the season very well, and new point guard Lorenzo Bonam has started to come around a little more. In order for Utah to get where they want to this season, they need to improve their on ball defense, and have better defensive rotation.
The trip in paradise is almost over, and the Utes would love to leave with another win.
Go Utes!
