Utah Runnin' Utes at Wichita State Open Thread

Chris Nicoll-USA TODAY Sports

A good test is on tap for the Utes, as they travel to Kansas to take on Wichita State this afternoon. The Utes should be well rested, as they haven't played a game since last week. These next couple of games are going to be very, very good tests for the Utes as they move closer to conference play. Of course, next week the Utes take on Duke in New York City.

Wichita State has started the season slow, with a 4-4 overall mark, but have been hobbled by injury. The Shockers appear to be getting healthier going into this game, which the Utes will be without Kenneth Ogbe, who aggravated the injury that's been plaguing him since last season.

This could be a nice resume builder, if the Utes walk away with a win. This will be the most hostile environment the Utes have played in this year, and should be a good test for the team.
