Utah's Aussie punter has another accolade to go along with his Ray Guy Award, his second, and his other awards this post season, as he was named to the AP All-America first team on Sunday. Hackett will go down as one of the most decorated Utes to ever play, as he's won multiple All-America honors the past couple of seasons, including the Walter Camp first-team All-American team the last two seasons. He was also named to the Pac-12 All-Century team, along with his other Pac-12 awards, and of course, the back-to-back Ray Guy Awards. He's only the third punter in history to win two Ray Guy Awards, and he's the Pac-12's and Utah's first Ray Guy Award winner.
Utah leads the nation in net punting (43.67) behind Hackett, whose 47.8 punt average leads the Pac-12 and ranks third in the nation. The three-time first-team All-Pac-12 selection has placed 24 of his 55 punts inside the 20-yard line (43.6%), 11 inside the 10-yard line and two inside the five and leads the Pac-12 in punts of 50+ yards with 20.
