The Runnin' Utes are back on the floor to take on the Indiana Purdue Fort Wayne Mastodons at the Huntsman Center. It's safe to say that the intensity in the arena will be dialed down from what we saw here Wednesday night in the rivalry game. A game like this is ideal for Utah to continue refinement, especially defensively. The Utes were much better on defense against BYU, but still had some lapses. This is a nice game to help get real for Wichita State in a week.
It'd also be nice if the guard line for the Utes could start to develop more confidence and consistency. It's been feast for famine for that crew, with a lot of famine early on this season. For the Utes to get to where they want to go, they need Brandon Taylor to straighten out his shot, and to pull back on the turnovers.
Let's get ready for a basketball matinee, and chat with us if you're not at the arena!
