The No. 11 Runnin' Utes (16-4, 6-2 Pac-12) look to rebound from their loss at UCLA as they take on the USC Trojans (9-11, 1-7 Pac-12). Utah showed little effort and looked sluggish overall in the upset loss at UCLA on Thursday. Utah has struggled to win on the road, especially in Pac-12 play, already falling at UCLA and getting beaten handily at Arizona. Their lone Pac-12 road win this season was at Arizona State, which they won 76-59. Utah will need to improve away from the Huntsman Center if they want to make a deep run in the NCAA Tournament.
USC has struggled in basketball this season, with their lone Pac-12 win coming over Cal. They lost 79-55 at Utah earlier this season. Utah has the statistical edge in almost every category against USC (USC averages more steals and rebounds and hold opponents to a worse 3-point FG percentage).
When Utah wins, they tend to win big. They are second in the nation in wins of 20 points or more, Notre Dame is first.
