Kaelin Clay's and Dres Anderson's Day at the NFL Combine

Brian Spurlock-USA TODAY Sports

Friday was about the big guys, and for Utah Jeremiah Poutasi, Saturday it was about the speedsters - and that's where Dres Anderson and Kaelin Clay were put on display for the NFL scouts. While Anderson is coming off of a knee injury and didn't run any of the speed drills, something he plans to do at the Utah Pro Day, both he and Clay had plenty to prove.

Here are their results;

40-yard dash: Clay - 4.51; Anderson - N/A (4.28 seconds was the fastest)

Bench press: Clay - 10 reps; Anderson - 13 reps (most was 23 reps)

Vertical jump: Clay - 33 inches; Anderson - N/A (45 inches were the most)

Broad jump: Clay - 113 inches; Anderson - N/A (139 inches were the most)

3 cone drill: Clay - 6.97 seconds; Anderson - N/A (6.63 seconds was the fastest)

20-yard shuffle: Clay - 4.26 seconds; Anderson - N/A (3.98 seconds was the fastest)

60-yard shuffle: Clay and Anderson didn't participate.

Clay with his 4.51 time in the 40 was disappointed in his performance, especially since he was gunning for a low 4.4. The big thing now going forward for Clay is to improve on his numbers at Pro Day, and for Anderson, it's about getting healthy and stronger to put up some numbers to get on the radar for some pro teams.

Sunday we'll see Nate Orchard take the stage and see if he can improve his draft stock.
