On this critical Oregon road swing, Utah got over a big hurdle recently, but the Runnin' Utes have another to clear before returning home next week, the Ducks in Eugene. Oregon head coach Dana Altman has his ducks on the verge of another 20-win season, as well as on the proverbial NCAA Tournament bubble. This game means a lot on both sides of the court, with Utah trying to keep pace with Arizona for the conference regular season title.

Utah is in the midst of its best run in the Pac-12 in the program's history, a five-game conference winning streak. A win today on the Duck's pond will set up a showdown in Salt Lake City next week for the Pac-12 title. Utah head coach Larry Krystkowiak would be the first Utah men's coach to win a Pac-12 crown since the Utes joined the conference. The Marsdens won the first women's title last year in gymnastics, but this would be the first, best opportunity for the men's side to tally a championship in the Conference of Champions.
