The Runnin' Utes (18-4, 8-2) basketball team got some momentum from their demolition of both USC and Colorado and moved back up the rankings to No. 11. Conference rival Arizona (20-3, 8-2) sits at No. 7 after their surprising loss to Arizona State.
The Utes are on a two-game winning streak, both on the road, and fresh off a 79-51 dismantling of the Buffaloes in Boulder. Utah point guard Brandon Taylor burned up the nets for 18 points on 6-of-9 from downtown. While Taylor led the barrage, he wasn't the only Utah player bombing away from the outside. As a team, the Utes shot 13-of-22 from behind the three-point arc (59.1 percent).
The Utes will be hosting Stanford and California this week in the Jon M. Huntsman Center, starting with the Cardinal on Thursday at 7 p.m. MT.
