NCAA Bracket 2015: Utah Runnin' Utes to face SF Austin in Portland

It was just announced that the Utes will be taking on Stephen F Austin in the South Region in Portland on Thursday. This is the dreaded 5/12 matchup, where the 12 seed wins a lot of the time. The last time Utah was dancin' they were a 5-seed, and they lost to 12-seed Arizona. Although, this time around, they should have the size and speed advantage over Stephen F Austin.

After a tough finish to the season, and a heartbreaking loss to Oregon in the Pac-12 tournament semi-finals, Utah now knows where they are going and who they're playing.

As for Utah's opponent, Stephen F Austin, we'll preview them more later on, but here's a bit of an overview on them. SF Austin, out of the Southland Conference, was 29-4 on the season and won their conference championship. Seth Davis on CBS had SF Austin beating Utah, and didn't give the Utes much of a thought.

If Utah wins, they'll take on the winner of Georgetown and Eastern Washington on Saturday.

After a five year absence from the NCAA tournament, Coach Krystowiak has done one heck of a job rebuilding this program, and they may even be ahead of schedule. Now it's up to Delon Wright to help lead this team on a journey through the tourney, something Utah fans have been craving for way too long.
