Brendan Bailey Decommits from ASU

According to Josh Gershon, 2016 American Fork (Utah) guard/forward Brendan Bailey has decommitted from #ASU, his mother Sindi tells The 6-6 Bailey has an offer from the Runnin' Utes and is the son of former Utah Jazz forward Thurl Bailey. The younger Bailey is rated a four-star recruit. The news comes quickly on the heels of the Arizona State athletics announcement that they fired head basketball coach Herb Sendek. Can Utah land Bailey? A Sweet Sixteen appearance can't hurt the cause. Utah will have four scholarships to work with for the 2016 recruiting class, possibly more depending on what happens with Jake Connor and Eris Winder. With Jordan Loveridge and Dakarai Tucker graduating after the 2015-2016 season, Utah will need to restock their cupboard with athletic, long, wings.
